Yr. 2024Located in Aranya, SHIMMER BY THE COAST is a fisherman-style eatery specializing in Eastern Hebei folk flavors. Its name, derived from coastal staples, evokes a simple and authentic home-cooked experience.
The brand identity centers on the myth of the "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea," blending tradition with modern design to showcase the intersection of local culture and culinary inspiration. Visual elements incorporate Qinhuangdao’s intangible heritage—such as rattan weaving and paper-cutting—into the "Eight Immortals' artifacts" icons. Paired with auspicious patterns and bold traditional colors, the typography and stroke details reflect a cohesive balance between heritage and innovation.
