Yr. 2025My Cup of Tea is a classic Hong Kong–style cha chaan teng brand known for its iconic silk-stocking and yuanyang milk tea. For its first mainland China location at Shenzhen Bay MixC, we refreshed the brand’s visual identity while carefully preserving the nostalgic atmosphere rooted in Hong Kong’s bustling street culture. The redesign aims to translate that warmth of memory into a contemporary commercial setting, connecting the rhythms of the modern city with the sentiment of the past.
Step inside, and gilded plaques catch the eye alongside walls blanketed in hand-lettered posters and vintage frames — transporting you instantly to the unhurried charm of an old-school Hong Kong bing sutt, where you can settle comfortably into your own world amid the surrounding noise. Look closer, and the details reveal something new: a collision of old and new typefaces, a hierarchy of well-ordered layouts, and a clean, striking "yuanyang" graphic motif that brings fresh structure and vitality to the whole.
